Photography has brought us many places we would have never seen otherwise. Being able to visit a family grain elevator that has been standing for so long in Liberty SK was such a privilege. To many Saskatchewan born people this may seem pretty uneventful but being a city boy from BC this was pretty unique. I even got to use an old manual powered elevator all the way to the top! I was frightened because it got stuck in the darkest place of the building and I didn't have the muscles to get it unstuck, and the rope was looking kind of old. But luckily my friend Quinn was there to talk me through it (and help pull me up!)
