A Love Across Borders: A Beautiful Wedding at Cross Iron Acres

This summer, Raina and I had the honour of capturing a breathtaking wedding at Cross Iron Acres in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and the kind of love that knows no boundaries.

The wedding was especially unique as it celebrated the union of two incredible brides, one from Canada and the other from the United States. Their love story was a beautiful reminder that no matter where life takes us, love finds its way.

Cross Iron Acres provided the perfect backdrop for this heartfelt celebration. Nestled in the peaceful countryside, the venue’s rustic charm matched the couple’s laid-back, joyful energy. The day was bright and warm, filled with laughter, and endless smiles from the brides and their guests.

As photographers, Raina and I love capturing candid moments that tell the story of the day, and this wedding gave us plenty to work with. From the tender moments of getting ready to the emotional ceremony where the brides exchanged vows, every detail was touched with love.

One of the highlights of the day was the evening dance under a canopy of string lights, just as the golden hour sun painted everything in a warm glow. The brides shared a dance outside, surrounded by the love of their family and friends, with soft music playing and the laughter of guests in the background. The golden hour light and the intimate setting created a perfect moment that we were thrilled to capture.
